Why "The Early Church"?
In the book of Acts, we see a church on fire. Believers sold their possessions, shared everything in common, and proclaimed Christ boldly — even unto death. They were called "Christians" first in Antioch, a name given by their enemies because Christ was so evident in their lives.
That name wasn't just a label — it was a declaration. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." To follow Him was to walk a Way that was visible, costly, and utterly different from the world around them. The early believers weren't called followers of a religion. They were called followers of The Way.
We believe the church today is called to return to that first love, that radical devotion, that fearless witness. Not a nostalgia for the past, but a living expression of the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead.
This is a return to Antioch — a gathering place and a launching pad for those who refuse to settle for comfortable religion, who hear the Spirit saying "Awake, O sleeper, and rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."
We are not building a website. We are not managing a ministry brand. This is a movement — one that believes the last days Church will look just like the first. Not polished or program-driven, but alive, Spirit-empowered, and sent. The Early Church exists to call people back to that original fire. To equip, send, and multiply disciples who carry the presence of God into homes, streets, and nations.
This is not a community to join. This is a call to answer.

Jesus did not establish a divided Church. He said, "I will build My Church" (Matthew 16:18)—singular. The early believers were never identified by labels or affiliations, but by Christ alone. They were unified in the Gospel, devoted to the apostles' teaching, fellowship, and prayer (Acts 2:42). Scripture is clear: "There is one body and one Spirit… one Lord, one faith, one baptism" (Ephesians 4:4–5). Jesus Himself prayed for this unity: "that they may all be one… so that the world may believe" (John 17:21). Unity is not optional—it is foundational to the Church's witness.
When division began to emerge, it was immediately confronted: "Is Christ divided?" (1 Corinthians 1:13). The apostles did not create separate groups—they corrected the error and called believers back to Christ. We are warned plainly: "I appeal to you… that there be no divisions among you" (1 Corinthians 1:10). Denominations, while often well-intentioned, are not the model given by Jesus or practiced by the early Church. Our commitment is to return to that foundation—Christ as the head (Colossians 1:18), Scripture as authority, and a unified body on mission.
We are not building a denomination.

What is The Early Church?
The Early Church is a simple movement of people returning to the way followers of Jesus first gathered—meeting informally in homes, around campfires, around a picnic table... building real relationships, and living out their faith together day by day.
What does the term "Early Church" actually refer to?
Historically, the "early church" is the first era of Christianity — the time of the apostles and the generations that followed, commonly dated up to the First Council of Nicaea in 325 AD. It was marked by simple, intimate gatherings of believers devoted to the apostles' teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer (Acts 2:42). Our movement takes its name from that era because we're seeking to recover its heartbeat — not as a relic, but as a living pattern for following Jesus together today.
