Multiplication Framework

House Church
Gathering Multiplication

This is not meant to stay small. This is meant to grow, spread, and multiply. Not through pressure. Not through numbers. But through obedience. This is how the early church spread—and how your gathering will too.

Spiritual Growth

Simple Pathway for Success

Step 1

Foundation

  • •What is the Gospel
  • •What is surrender
  • •Identity in Christ

Step 2

  • •Hearing God
  • •Obedience

Step 3

Step 4

Multiplication

  • •Discipling others
  • •Leading small groups
  • •Carrying responsibility

01

Set the Expectation Early

This really does matter... a lot. Say it often. Normalize it.

"You are not just here to attend—you are being formed to carry this."

"What you're receiving, you will eventually give away."

"This doesn't end with us—it continues through you."

In the early church in Acts of the Apostles, people didn't just gather—they went, and it spread naturally.

👉 If people think this is permanent and closed, they will settle.

👉 If they know it's meant to multiply, they will prepare.

02

Train Others to Host

Be careful not to wait too long. Hosting is not about perfection—it's about willingness.

Start identifying people early who:

• are consistent

• engage in discussion

• care about others

• show initiative

Then give them small steps:

• Host a portion of the gathering

• Lead a discussion

• Facilitate prayer

Eventually: 👉 "You could do this in your home."

Remove the intimidation by showing them:

• it's simple

• it's reproducible

• it doesn't require expertise

03

Keep the Structure Simple

If your model is too complex, it will never multiply.

Your gathering should be something anyone can remember:

• Scripture

• Discussion

• Prayer

• Obedience

That's it.

If someone can't explain it in 60 seconds, it's too complicated.

👉 Simplicity is what allows replication.

04

Release, Don't Control

This is where most movements stall.

When someone is ready:

Don't say: "Stay here longer."

Say: "Go. Start something."

You can support them, but don't hold them.

👉 Multiplication requires letting go.

05

Encourage New Groups to Form Naturally

Not forced. Not scheduled.

But when you see:

• growth

• crowding

• new people stepping up

Say: 👉 "It might be time to start another group."

Frame it as:

• expansion, not division

• mission, not separation

06

Stay Relational, Not Organizational

Even as things multiply.

• stay connected

• check in regularly

• pray for one another

• share testimonies

You're not building a network of groups.

👉 You're building a family that is spreading.

07

Celebrate Multiplication

When someone starts something new.

• acknowledge it

• encourage it

• share the story

This reinforces: 👉 This is what we do

This is how it all worked in Acts of the Apostles. And this is how it will still work.

"This is how it all worked in Acts of the Apostles. And this is how it will still work."

The multiplication of the early Church wasn't a strategy—it was the natural overflow of disciples who understood they were sent. Your house gathering follows the same pattern.

Ready to Multiply?

Start with principle one: Set the expectation. Then let multiplication happen naturally as people are formed to carry the mission forward.
