Oftentimes fear is the biggest opponent to living in full Christian authority; fear of what others may think, fear of embarrassment, fear of failure... Scripture shares that this is a direct attack of evil, meant to harness and stifle your full Kingdom potential.
If you are struggling with this battle, let this word be a source of encouragement for you-
God is calling out warrior leaders, men of faith, Biblical watchmen! You were made exactly for this moment in history, and heaven is counting on you to fulfill your ordained role.
"God, what kind of man are you calling me to be? How can I serve you to the best of my ability? What are you asking of me?"
"ONLY TO BE THE MAN."
- Be the man whose presence alone shifts atmospheres, before a word is even spoken. The man who walks into a space with God at His side, passion in his heart, and truth as his guide.
- Be the man who listens with acceptance, love and wisdom, not insecurity, judgement, or arrogance. Who hears with discernment and responds without ego.
- Be the man who sees need and responds with care and kindness, understanding that serving others is directly serving our Savior. And to do this with humility, without need of praise, recognition or applause.
- Be the man who prays earnestly with authority knowing heaven hears and hell responds. Who reshapes the world around him by his waging war on the behalf of others.
- Be the man that has heaven's light on full display, guiding others toward our Father's love, simply by his everyday example.
- Be the man who speaks healing and life over others while still fighting his own causes and bearing his own scars.
- Be the man who refuses to let his brothers weaken, drift, or settle for less than God’s standard, holding those around him accountable to heaven's expectations.
- Be the man who sees purpose where others see failure and destruction, who sees potential, grace, and life in others who may be overlooked or forgotten.
- Be the man who confronts darkness with fire and passion, instead of backing down or quietly wishing it away. The one who tirelessly refuses to give up the line.
- Be the man who is available and chooses to honor those around you, offering praise, thanks, and appreciation as a means of blessing others.
- Be the man who chooses not to curse, lie, or gossip, but rather to honor God by waging war in the Spirit. One who encourages others rather than tearing them down. Who reaches out his hand to the weak, tired, and lonely.
- Be the man that leads his family as the priest of his own household, walking intentionally in the example he lives and the decisions he must make.
THIS is what the world needs. Real men. Godly men. Men of conviction and devotion. Men who aren't afraid to walk in their calling.
What it does not need is more masculine, opinionated, controlling men. It needs bold men of substance. Men committed to the cause. Men of discipline. Men who understand the stakes and who aren't afraid to bow, pledging fealty to our King.
If you've struggled with knowing how God can use you, this is a great starter manual to help you along your journey. Remember, we are at war! Your role and your contribution very much matters, otherwise you wouldn't be here reading this article today.
