Some of you have been fighting battles that nobody around you fully understands. Maybe you don’t even understand it yourself, completely.
You’ve been carrying emotional baggage around for so long that exhaustion has started to feel normal. Your mind has been under attack. Your emotions have been stretched thin. And your spirit has felt exhausted from constantly standing in the middle of unseen warfare.
And maybe you’ve been wondering- “Why has this season of my life been so hard?” “Why do I feel so opposed?” “Why does it seem like every time I try to move forward, something tries to pull me backward?”
Those are all very valid questions, with a valid answer... Because there is something inside of you worth fighting against!
The enemy does not waste time attacking people who are comfortable in darkness.
He fights people who are waking up, people who are growing; people who are getting close to God, who carry freedom, healing, purpose, and breakthrough for others.
Some of you are under attack because your life is meant to become evidence of the goodness and power of God. The enemy is creating delay, confusion, and pain... all of which he hopes will make you quit.
But God sees your pain and He will use it.
What almost broke you is becoming the very thing God will use to strengthen someone else. The tears you cried are beginning to produce compassion. The battles you survived is producing authority. The season that felt like it was burying you was actually preparing you, building you... making you.
Take this in... You are not weak because you’ve struggled. You are not forgotten because the battle has been long. And you are not failing because you’re tired.
Warriors get tired too. But God has kept you.
Through every sleepless night.
Through every anxious thought.
Through every disappointment.
Through every moment you wanted to disappear.
Through every attack that tried to convince you that elements of your life didn’t matter.
You are still here, and that very much matters. It matters because it is a clear demonstration that there is still purpose attached to your name. There are still chains that will break because you chose not to give up.
So if you’re in a hard season right now, don’t surrender to the darkness. Don’t believe the lie that this is just how your story should or will go.
God is still moving.
God is still forming you.
God is still carrying you.
And what the enemy meant to destroy… God is going to use for His glory.
Your story is not about defeat, it is becoming a testimony.
