Isaiah 43:19: “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Wow! What a powerful story, all wrapped up into such a short statement.
Isaiah reminds us that our God is not limited by our circumstances, He is the God who steps into impossible places and makes them live again. This verse declares a sacred promise: God is already moving, already working, already creating something new, even in the places that look barren, broken, or beyond repair.
When He says He will make “a way in the wilderness” and “rivers in the desert,” He is revealing His heart to guide, provide, and breathe life into the very areas we thought were lost. Where you see dead ends, God sees doorways. Where you feel dry, He is preparing a river. Where you feel forgotten, He is writing a new beginning.
This is a message of hope for the weary, assurance for the doubtful, and love for the hurting. It is a call to lift your eyes and trust that God is able...faithful...to bring unexpected breakthroughs, miraculous provision, and profound transformation.
He is making all things new… even now.
