Seventy-five years ago, a call rang out from the steps of the U.S. Capitol for America to humble itself and seek God in prayer. In 1952, that call became law. Today, it becomes our responsibility.
Thursday, May 7, 2026 marks the 75th National Day of Prayer, a sacred moment for believers across this nation to stand together and cry out to the God who still reigns above every crisis, every division, and every fear.
This year’s theme, “Glorify God Among the Nations, Seeking Him in All Generations,” is more than a slogan. It is a summons.
A summons to repentance.
A summons to unity.
A summons to return to the Lord.
America was born in prayer. Our greatest awakenings, revivals, victories, and moments of restoration were all preceded by people who fell to their knees and refused to let go of God. The future of this nation will not be decided first in politics, media, or culture. It will be shaped in prayer closets, around family tables, inside churches, and in the hearts of ordinary men and women who still believe God can move again.
As we approach the 250th anniversary of America’s founding, this National Day of Prayer carries unusual weight. We are standing at a crossroads. The answer is not more noise. The answer is the presence of God.
“Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all peoples.” -1 Chronicles 16:24
Tomorrow, wherever you are- at home, at work, in your church, in your car, or gathered with others- stop and pray.
Pray for revival.
Pray for repentance.
Pray for families.
Pray for the Church.
Pray for our leaders.
Pray for the lost.
Pray for another great awakening in America.
God has not forgotten this nation.
And He is not finished with America yet.
🇺🇸 Will you answer the call to pray?
