The Cost of Following Jesus
Almost nobody talks about this. Yet Jesus talked about it constantly. He told people to count the cost before they followed Him — not after.
"Whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me."
— Matthew 10:38
This page is not designed to discourage you. It is designed to give you what Jesus always gave people: the truth, so your choice is real.
Modern consumer Christianity offers a comfortable, convenient faith with no demands and no disruption to your existing life.
Jesus offered something completely different.
He invited people into a life-altering, kingdom-building, cross-carrying journey — and He was completely transparent about what it would cost. Read His words and decide for yourself.
Why Are We Telling You This?
Because the alternative — a cheap, easy, comfortable pseudo-faith — produces nothing. It produces people who say they believe but whose lives are unchanged. It produces churches that are a mile wide and an inch deep. It produces generations who walk away the moment something requires something of them.
Jesus said to count the cost before you build, not after. He wanted disciples, not fans. The distinction matters more than anything.
The most loving thing we can do is tell you the truth about what following Jesus actually means — and then tell you that millions of people across the centuries have counted it and called it the greatest decision they ever made.
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes."— Romans 1:16, Paul (who was later executed for this)
This is what we believe. This is what the earliest Christians believed. This is what has transformed lives in every culture, every century, every nation on earth — not despite the cost, but in full knowledge of it.
You've counted the cost
Now take the next step.
This is not a sales pitch. It's an invitation — to the most demanding and most rewarding life available to a human being.
