The Whole Story
Deliverance Is the
Theme of the Entire Bible
From the very first pages of Genesis to the final chapter of Revelation, the Bible tells one story — God relentlessly pursuing humanity to set them free. Deliverance is not a niche subject tucked into a few obscure passages. It is the spine of Scripture.
Old Testament
God delivers Israel from slavery in Egypt. He rescues His people from oppression, exile, and spiritual idolatry — over and over again. The entire Exodus narrative is a deliverance story.
The Gospels
Jesus' ministry was marked by healing, casting out demons, and proclaiming freedom. He didn't just preach about liberty — He demonstrated it everywhere He went.
Revelation
The story ends with final, complete deliverance — the defeat of Satan, the abolition of death, and the full restoration of all things under the reign of Christ.
"The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil."
1 John 3:8
This was not a side ministry. This was the mission. Jesus announced it in His very first public message in Luke 4 — "to proclaim freedom for the prisoners… to set the oppressed free." He then spent three years doing exactly that.
Then He commissioned His disciples to do the same — and that commission extends to every believer today. Deliverance is not optional. It is not extreme. It is normal Christianity.
What We Believe About Deliverance
It's for today
Deliverance ministry did not end with the apostles. Jesus gave this authority to all believers and the early church practiced it as normal Christianity.
It's rooted in Scripture
Every aspect of deliverance ministry is grounded in the Bible — not experience, tradition, or sensationalism. The Word is our authority.
It's about love
True deliverance ministry is pastoral and compassionate. It meets people in their pain and walks them toward lasting freedom in Christ.
Freedom must be maintained
Deliverance is not a magic fix. It is a door into freedom — one that must be walked through daily through discipleship and the renewal of the mind.
